They happen in a field, under the sun, at a festival, surrounded by good music, good people, and racks full of clothes that make you feel like the best version of yourself. That is the magic of the JQ mobile boutique — and we are so excited to announce that the 2026 season is officially here.
What Is the JQ Mobile Boutique?
For those who are new here — welcome! JQ Clothing Co. started in Oakes, North Dakota back in 2013 with one simple mission: to bring beautiful, affordable, trend-forward fashion to women everywhere. Over the years we have grown to four permanent locations — Oakes ND, Medora ND, Hill City SD, and our brand new Fargo ND store at West Acres Mall — but the mobile boutique has always held a very special place in our hearts.
Our mobile store is exactly what it sounds like. We pack up our trailer, load it with the best inventory we have got, and hit the road to meet you where you are — at fairs, festivals, and markets all across the Dakotas and Minnesota. Think the full JQ experience: racks packed with the latest arrivals, our famous Hat Bar, jewelry, accessories, graphic tees, denim, basics in every color, and more. All of it, right there at your favorite summer event.
What to Expect When You Visit Us
When you spot the JQ trailer at an event, here is what you are walking into:
The Hat Bar. We are obsessed with hats and we are not sorry about it. Our Hat Bar is always stocked with the most fun, trendy, personality-packed caps around — trucker hats, cowboy hats, straw hats, and everything in between. Whether you are a Coors Light girl, a Ranch Style girl, or a Bless Your Heart girl — we have your hat.
Graphic Tees & Western Pieces. Festival season is graphic tee season and we lean into it completely. From Wild West Rodeo to Not My First Rodeo to our fan-favorite western print pieces — our mobile racks are full of things you will want to live in all summer long.
Denim Everything. Shorts, vests, jackets, skirts — our denim collection always shows up strong at events because nothing pairs with a festival better than the perfect denim piece.
Basics & Tanks. We know that between the events, you need the everyday pieces too. We always bring a full rainbow of tanks, tees, and basics so you can stock up while you are having fun.
Jewelry & Accessories. The finishing touches matter. We carry Pura Vida bracelets, necklaces, earrings, bags, and little extras that complete every look.

Tips for Shopping the Mobile Boutique
A few things we have learned after years of doing this — and we want you to have the best experience possible:
Come early. The best pieces always go first. If you know we are going to be at an event near you, make a point to come see us in the first day or two. Hot items sell fast and we can not always restock on the road.
Follow us on social media before the event. We post sneak peeks of what we are bringing and sometimes announce exclusive event-only deals. You will want to know before you show up.
Bring your friends. Everything is more fun with your people and shopping the JQ mobile boutique is no exception. Plus more people means more eyes on the racks — you might find something for each other!
