JQ Clothing Co is a women's fashion boutique right on the boardwalk in Medora, North Dakota — a few minutes from the south entrance of Theodore Roosevelt National Park and a short walk from the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library.

Two doors, one store
We have two storefronts side by side on the boardwalk, and both of them are ours. Standing on the boardwalk facing the store:
- Left door (east) — the kids' room and the Hat Bar
- Right door (west) — the women's boutique and clothing
They connect inside, so either door gets you to all of it. Look for the black JQ Clothing Company + Hat Bar signs hanging over the walk.
What you'll find in the store
Our Medora boutique carries the same curated selection our customers know us for — tops, dresses, denim from Judy Blue and Kancan, graphic tees, jewelry and accessories, all in sizes Small through 3X. We also carry western pieces, wild rags, and North Dakota and Badlands souvenir apparel you won't find in a gift shop.
Build a hat at our Hat Bar
Our Hat Bar is one of the most-loved things we do — it's just inside the left-hand door. Pick your hat, pick your patches and pins, and we'll press them on while you shop. It takes about twenty minutes and you walk out with something nobody else has. Walk in any time we're open, or call ahead and we'll set aside time for your group — it's a favorite for girls' weekends, bachelorette parties and family trips.
Medora and North Dakota souvenirs
If you want something to take home from the trip, we have a whole corner of it — Medora hoodies and tees, Theodore Roosevelt and Badlands designs, North Dakota trucker caps, tumblers, magnets and postcards. It's souvenir apparel you'll actually wear again once you're home.
Bring the kids
Come in the left-hand door and you're straight into the kids' room — clothing from newborn through youth XL, pajamas, ball caps, plus toys, puzzles, road-trip games, stuffed animals and little souvenirs at prices that won't hurt. Parents tell us it's the stop that buys them a few quiet minutes, and kids tell us it's the fun store.
More than clothes
We carry the extras too — candles, bath and body products, tumblers and mugs, jewelry, hair accessories and gifts. If you need something for a birthday, a hostess or a thank-you and you're not sure what to get, come in and we'll help you put something together.
Shopping in Medora
Medora is one of the best small towns in North Dakota to spend a day, and downtown is walkable end to end. Stop in while you're here for the Medora Musical, the Presidential Library, the Pitchfork Steak Fondue or a drive through the park. We're right on Pacific Avenue in the middle of it all — and we're one of the few shops in town open into the evening during the summer, so we're an easy stop before the Musical.
