For the past 11 years, we’ve been attending market, where we spend days selecting the perfect pieces to bring back for you!
What Exactly is “Market”?
Market is where the magic begins. It’s a trade show where fashion buyers, like us, go to discover the latest trends, styles, and designs from various brands and designers. We typically attend market twice a year, once in February and again in August, to find the perfect pieces for the upcoming seasons. These markets set the tone for the collections you'll find in our stores, from cozy fall sweaters to chic spring dresses.
Where Do We Go?
For over a decade, Las Vegas has been our go-to market destination, but we've also ventured to Denver, Minneapolis, and even Fashion Row in Los Angeles. This year, we’re changing things up and heading to Dallas in March, and we couldn’t be more excited! Each city offers something different, and we love mixing it up to find unique pieces that suit every taste and style. These trips are intensive—we shop for four days straight, making sure to cover as much ground as possible to bring you a wide variety of options.
A Team Effort
One of the reasons our collections are so diverse is because we take a team with us—representing different ages, styles, and perspectives. With so many eyes on the selection process, we make sure to find something for everyone. Whether you love bold statement pieces or prefer classic, timeless looks, our team is dedicated to bringing you styles that resonate.
From Market to Your Closet: The Process
Once we’ve made our selections at market, the real work begins. Over 300 boxes of freight (yes, they’re huge—just ask our delivery guys!) arrive, and it’s all hands on deck. We unpack, steam, and enter every item into our POS and website systems. Each product is carefully named, described, and photographed so that it looks just as good online as it does in person. And then, we take to social media to showcase all the new beauties, so you can see what’s hitting our shelves.
Each Location Gets a Selection
We want each of our store locations to reflect the unique style of the community it serves, so every store receives a run of the items we’ve purchased. Whether you're shopping in Medora, Hill City, or Oakes, you’ll find a curated collection of the latest trends we’ve sourced just for you.
